E-Commerce

Ecommerce, e-commerce, or electronic commerce is the conduct of financial transactions by electronic means.  With the huge success of commerce on the Internet, ecommerce usually refers to shopping at online stores on the World Wide Web, also known as ecommerce Web sites. Ecommerce can be business to business (B to B) or business to consumer (B to C).

ü Business to business (B2B): known as e-biz, is the exchange of products, services, or information between businesses rather than between businesses and consumers.

ü Business to consumer (B2C): A transaction that occurs between a company and a consumer, as opposed to a transaction between companies (called B2B). The term may also describe a company that provides goods or services for consumers.

ü Consumer to  consumer (C2C):In internet commerce, means through which consumers interact with other consumer through online auctions.
